Ways to Give
There are a variety of ways to give at Crossroads. You can give anonymously with cash or use an envelope in a pew with a check or cash. Before dropping your gift in one of the offering baskets toward the back of the sanctuary, please provide your name, address, giving amount, and check number (if applicable) if you would like to have your giving recorded. There are other ways you can give outside worship services:
Online Giving
We highly encourage that one-time or recurring gifts be set up with bank transfers through our Realm online giving page.
Text Giving
You can give via text using debit cards, credit cards, or ACH payments. Please refer to our guide for instructions.
Envelopes
You can pick up offering envelopes at the Welcome Center. Upon filling out an envelope, you can hand it to an administrative coordinator during normal office hours or send it in the mail later. We also collect for Special Offering campaigns with envelopes with the PC(USA).
Non-cash Gifts
Contact the office for instructions on how to donate stocks, mutual funds, or similar gifts.
Legacy Giving
Current assets, wills, or estate plans ensure the ongoing development, vitality, and Christ-centered leadership of Crossroads across generations with our Legacy Giving program.
Pledging
Pledging is giving with a plan. In communicating your financial intentions with Crossroads, this allows the church to not only plan ahead in how we invest in our ministries and mission, but also support our programming, staffing, building and grounds, and more. To set up a pledge, sign in to your Realm account. We have a written guide and a video tutorial.
Be on the lookout for our stewardship campaign toward the end of the year! Please note that for tax and record-keeping purposes, all gifts of any sort must be received by December 31 if they are to be counted for that year. Even if a gift is marked with the prior year, it will not count unless we receive it before the year’s end. Please keep our office hours throughout December in mind as you plan to give.
Security & Privacy
For your protection, Crossroads has taken a number of steps to maximize the security of financial transactions accepted through online giving. Bank account processing is accomplished using secure processing services. Your entry of information is encrypted when transmitted. Crossroads does not share personal information, which is stored in a secure environment separate from our website.
We are committed to honoring God’s provision for our church by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability to ensure our financial integrity remains above reproach. We accomplish this through a system of internal controls and an internal budgeting and reporting process. In addition, an annual audit is performed by an internal audit committee appointed by the Session.
Financial Reports
Our financial reports disclose our spending and giving at the end of every fiscal year with stats and statistics, as well as reflections from Session, ministry teams, and staff. You can read them with the rest of our updates and reports.
