Crossroads Presbyterian Church sits on a 13-acre campus at the corner of Green Bay Road and Highland Road in Mequon, Wisconsin. Originally built in 1959, our facility has grown to 65,000 square feet with a 750-seat sanctuary completed in 2000.

In 2004, we expanded further to include the Christian Life Center (a large gathering space with modular walls for meetings, fellowship, and meals), a Quiet Room (a private room furnished with seasonal decorations and resources for prayer and reflection), a full industrial-sized kitchen, and a dedicated workshop space. Our gathering area features plentiful seating with a coffee station where folks can also view Gallery Immanuel (an open art space with rotating exhibits highlighting Christian history, the beauty of creation, and more). Our gym sees frequent use by pickleball players and preschoolers, and located just outside our cozy fireside room is our Memory Garden and columbarium. On the south lawn, you will find a labyrinth where you can walk and meditate.

Please come visit on Sunday for worship or during other scheduled events! If you’d like to visit during the week, please see our office hours. You can preview a basic layout of our building and a downloadable guide below to relevant areas and rooms. For our address and a Google Maps preview, see our Contact Us page.

Members and visitors must come to the covered entrance and enter through the vestibule (foyer). Please find a parking spot in the lower lot, which is easiest to pull into off Highland Road where our digital sign is located.

If you are coming to Crossroads for tax prep or voting, do not enter through the lower lot. Park in the upper lot and enter through the double doors to the gymasium/Great Room. If you are coming from Wauwatosa Road, turn on the road to the left before the church’s digital sign. If you are coming from the opposite direction, take the first right after passing the digital sign. If you’re coming from Green Bay Road, turn onto West Chapel Hill Road and take the second left.

Safety & Accessibility

Medical Supplies

There are several medical supply cabinets stationed around our building, including a couple defibrilators. Report forms are filled out when any first aid treatment is administered.

Safety Team

Our Safety Team surveys the church campus and parking lots during Sunday Worship and major events. They are trained to help members with medical, weather, and emergency situations. You can spot them in burgundy lanyards.

Emergency Planning & Sheltering

We have an Emergency Action Plan to address a variety of situations with evacuation routes, lines of communication, shelter rooms, and more. Signage is posted around the campus indicating exits and areas of shelter.

In case of fires, we have extinguishers all around the building and a fire alarm system that is regularly tested and inspected. Some doors around the building are programmed to close upon smoke detection to contain fire spread.

Building Security

Our administrative coordinators regularly schedule when entrances are locked and unlocked throughout the week. They station the main entrance and screen visitors with our video/audio intercom system. Everyone who enters is asked to check in with our sign-in sheet upon arriving and leaving. Security cameras are installed across the campus both inside and outside, monitored throughout the week and recorded at all times.

We are specifically concerned with the holistic safety of children in our preschool and Children & Family Ministry initiatives. For a full accounting of our standards and rules to protect minors, you can review the highlights and our full Child Protection Policy.
