Art Gallery

The mission of the art :: light program is to glorify God through the thoughtful, professional exhibition of art, specifically in the context of the ministry of Crossroads. It is not art for art’s sake—it is art for Jesus’s sake. This program partners with artists to honor their creativity, glorify the Lord, and edify the church.
Exhibits are held in Gallery Immanuel: an area located within the heart of the Crossroads campus. Exhibits are proposed by a creative team led by Randy Crosby and recommended by the Worship Ministry Team for Session approval. Exhibits rotate every two months and are not only supportive of Crossroads’ ministries, programs, and initiatives, but also designed to be strategically impactful and intentionally imaginative in a variety of media.
Gallery Immanuel is open to the public on Sunday mornings and during the church’s office hours.
Schedule
October 5 through November 26: Featuring drawings of Jesus by the children of Crossroads, the exhibit “Crayola Jesus” will open with a reception in Gallery Immanuel following worship on Sunday, October 5. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…” and Crossroads does exactly that. Our Children’s Ministry recently asked each child to draw a picture of what they think Jesus looks like. We invite you to help celebrate our children’s artistic visions of Jesus by joining us at the exhibit’s opening reception immediately following the church service on Sunday, October 5. You will be inspired!
