Dear Crossroads Family,
As we approach the Advent season, a time of hope, anticipation, and preparation, we are thrilled to share a meaningful update in our pastoral search journey. Since mid-September, the Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) has been diligently interviewing several highly qualified candidates for our next Senior Pastor. This marks a significant milestone, and we are deeply grateful for your continued prayers and support that have carried us to this point.
Our process has been thorough and prayerful. Each candidate has participated in an initial 30-minute “Get-to-Know” conversation, followed by one or two in-depth 90-minute interviews exploring their experience, leadership approach, and the gifts they might bring to Crossroads. We have been impressed by the breadth and depth of these candidates and the commitment they have shown throughout this process.
While we still cannot share specific details yet (no spoilers!), please know that your continued partnership matters. We invite you to join us in intentional prayer during Advent for the PNC, for wisdom and discernment, for the candidates we are engaging with, and for the individual whom God is calling to lead Crossroads into its next chapter.
We are also grateful for the continued guidance of the Center for Healthy Churches (CHC), whose experience and insight have been invaluable in shaping a process rooted in integrity and spiritual discernment.
A Special Thank You: To everyone who has taken time to get their photo taken for the updated Crossroads Directory. This directory will be a wonderful gift for our congregation and building unity amongst us as we move into our next season.
As we await the joy of Christ’s coming and the promise of new leadership, let us continue to walk together in faith, hope, and maybe even a little holy anticipation. Thank you for continuing to stand with us in prayer and hope as we continue this important work.
