Dear Church Family,

Last week, we had the pleasure of recognizing and praying for our graduating seniors, and as the school year comes to a close and we turn the page toward summer, I want to take a moment to celebrate this season of transition with you. Whether you are a student, a parent, a teacher, or simply someone who remembers the rhythm of the academic calendar, this is a moment worth recognizing and rejoicing in.

To our students—congratulations! You’ve made it through another year of learning, growing, and persevering. Whether it was your first year of kindergarten or your last year of high school or college, each step you’ve taken is a testimony to your hard work and God’s faithfulness. We see you, we’re proud of you, and we’re praying for the next chapter in your journey.

To our teachers and school staff, thank you for pouring your energy, wisdom, and patience into the lives of young people this year. Your work—often unseen and underappreciated—is a powerful ministry that shapes hearts and minds. You’ve planted seeds of knowledge, encouragement, and faith that will bear fruit for years to come.

To our parents and caregivers, you’ve carried a heavy load—balancing schedules, helping with homework, and guiding your children through the ups and downs of the year. Thank you for your dedication and love. You are raising a generation of difference-makers, and your efforts do not go unnoticed.

As we step into summer, let us also remember that this season brings new opportunities—opportunities to rest, reconnect, and rediscover the simple joys that God has woven into creation. It’s a time for longer days, slower rhythms, and space to breathe deeply. It’s a chance to spend meaningful time with family and friends, enjoy nature, and reflect on the blessings that often go unnoticed in the busyness of the school year. Let us also not take a vacation from our faith. Summer offers a wonderful opportunity to grow spiritually, whether through personal devotion, service projects, youth camps, mission trips, or simply being more present with God in our daily lives. Let’s encourage one another to stay rooted in the Word and active in the Body of Christ.

As a church, we have exciting plans for the summer ahead—from Vacation Bible School to fellowship gatherings, outreach opportunities, and more. We hope you’ll stay connected and continue to make church a part of your family’s rhythm, even during this season of rest and renewal.

May this summer be a time of restoration for your soul, refreshment for your body, and rejoicing in the goodness of our God. May you find peace in His presence, joy in His creation, and strength for all that lies ahead.

With love and gratitude,
Joey Sulsberger
